Corpse Party : Devil's Feast

Corpse Party : Devil's Feast is a top down horror RPG developped in RPG Maker MZ .
It is a Corpse Party Fangame based on Blood Covered but pulling inspiration from the entire franchise. Originally a personal challenge in pixel art making, it eventually became a proper game project.
Just like the original, this game features puzzles and chase scenes, but not just that! There are many new things for the Kisaragi team to experience :
- The environment has become much more dangerous with sharp wire, gaps and weak flooring: Watch your step!
- You can now crawl under tables and through small crevices, expending on exploration and hiding from enemies!
- Some doors can be forced open thanks to the QTE system! Easy enough, until you're in the middle of a chase which speaking of...
- Enemies have personalised chase behaviour meaning you'll have to adapt your escape depending on who is chasing you
- But not all ghosts will attack you! You can befriend ghosts by completing personal quests, and some may even point you to healing items: That's right, HP actually has a use now!
And that's just the gameplay! Excited yet?

If there's crawling, will there be jumping across gaps in the floors a la ICO?
I did make a jumping function to allow you to jump across gaps or over sharp wire but later realised that it made exploration far too easy and the game completely unchallenging. I do plan on reusing it for a different game but I've shelved it in Devil's Feast's case
I had an idea for a 3d action-adventure game about Yui Shishido and Tsukasa Mikuni, influenced by ICO, and you jump over the gaps in the floor. also, shimmying across ledges.
Oh I'm not nearly skilled enough to work outside of RPG Maker just yet. I definitely want to try making 3D games in the future though. Unless you meant making it yourself in which case, go for it and most importantly, have fun doing it! I haven't played ICO but I'll check it out
ICO's contributed to practically every game since its release.
If you have a PS2 or ps3, you can play the game.
for most optimal on ps2, though, you should play the jpn/pal version, as the north american version released first and is therefore buggy.
for ps3, it's sold as part of the ICO and shadow of the collosus collection, where the former is based on its jpn/pal version.
as for 3d, you might as well check out Elgen Channel. They're working on a sort of spiritual successor to the Source engine, and third-person is supported. Its not out yet, but it looks promising

I've been remaking it in Godot and have not yet reached a point where I feel it is playable enough that I can share it unfortunately :(
Aw okay! Well I look forward to playing it when you're done. I love Corpse Party so this fan game sounds fun
